Verdict: balanced — midfield-led now. Defenders no longer own the board. Midfielders earn the largest share of points (38.7% vs DEF 37.6%) and nearly tie defenders for Top-100 slots (38 vs 40). Forwards are healthy — three sit in the Top 10 — and goalies have a real seat at the table (share 3.2%→5.6%). The top score fell from 141 → 62, and a midfielder (Yasin Ayari) leads the pool. One side effect remains: defenders are bottom-heavy (88 of the Bottom 100), since the trimmed clean-sheet floor no longer props up non-starters.

Read on the current state

Well balanced. Points share spans just 37.6–38.7% across MID and DEF, forwards reach 18.2%, and goalies have a genuine presence (5.6%). All four positions appear in the Top 10.
Defenders are bimodal. 40 in the Top 100 (the contributors) but 88 in the Bottom 100 (the rotation tail). Trimming the Defender clean sheet to 6 lifted the floor slightly from the interim 5, but a defender's value still depends on starting and contributing.
This looks like a good place to settle. The spread is tight (top 62, not 141) and no position is starved. Further nudges are optional fine-tuning, not fixes.
